…but it turns out that even though we planned the visit for a couple months, Mom and Davey are just not set up for visitors.
We scrambled a day or so to come up with an alternate plan after our long drive.
My friend Micah generously offered for us to stay a few days with her and rest.
Her place is adorable and 100% Micah!
She revved up the hot rod for us, and showed us the restoration she’s done.
We got to try out the dad apartment she is building in her downstairs and it was a cool respite from the mugginess that Mellie and I are not used to.
We went to sushi for lunch today at Umai in Pittsford.
I didn’t catch it in a photo, but it winked at me! I’m starting to appreciate sushi more than I used to.
