We didn’t make it to Iowa 80 yet but we are close.

  I decided to take Mel to Olive garden for her birthday in Iowa City.

We decided also to give harvest hosts a try and found an Alpaca farm who happily took us on short notice.  We haven’t gotten to see the peacocks yet, but we can hear them. 

There are fireflies in the field across the way.

I called Interstate Power systems again about unlocking the transmission 6th gear, and hopefully tomorrow we can make some headway with a local Freightliner dealer getting the documentation together, and finding a new driver seat at Iowa 80 truck stop.

I’ll try to get cute creature photos tomorrow morning before we leave. 

There goes that peacock again.
