We got here after the visitor center closed (of course).

I saw some birch fungus.

Not much to say today.  We got here pretty early after a short day of driving.

Tomorrow I’ll get my park passport stamp and we will drive thru the park a bit.

I think we could go to the Wright Brothers national historic flight site tomorrow but Mel doesn’t seem interested. 

I really want to avoid going near the metro Chicago traffic again, which means deliberately adding several extra hours. 

We will see in the morning.
