Heading home

Sunset in Montana as we drive to Kaili’s in Livingston

The neighbor’s cat, Cash.  Super friendly little guy! Also, Zack.

We got our extra battery Friday around 6 pm, and headed to Livingston to finally see Kaili.  I forgot to take pictures of Gatlin, but he has grown a lot since we last saw him, and was chatty and full of energy and as adorable as can be!

We got breakfast Saturday, got tire pressure checked, and headed north.

When we got to Sweetgrass, the rest stop was full for large vehicles, so we drove off into a ranch access road on about a mile out of town.

Border patrol and some ATVs went through past us a few times but nobody knocked on the door and asked us to leave.

For some reason in the morning the new microwave would not toast our bagels, so we just had cold bagel sandwiches. The only thing different than when I used it the other day to bake the cheesy bread is that now we have a third battery plugged into the Bluetti.  Maybe the settings changed when we restarted the system?

We’re about an hour and a half from Drumheller and surprisingly border patrol only asked to see our passports and what our plans were.

We hope to see some sights in Drumheller and then head to Edmonton tomorrow.
