The Hubbard

We will be home to see those lonely kitties tonight!!!!

Pook
Scary logging trucks

We got hit by a huge rock between Ft. St. John and Fort Nelson.  Luckily Service Glass in Ft. Nelson got us right in and was able to cut and replace the broken glass right away. The windshield nearly shattered, but only a handful of glass shards flew into my face from the inside and the glass pane stayed intact until we were able to get to the next town.  If it hadn’t, I’m sure we would have gone off the road from the shock of the impact.

Nice clean new glass! Thank you, Service Glass, Ft. Nelson!
So much fireweed still blowing in the Yukon.
Coming home to a flood in Mendenhall Valley

We stayed two nights at the Tutshi lake boat launch.  Monday morning it was swarmed by tour buses, at least 14, and people kept smoking by, looking into, and touching and opening the door of the bus.   The driver of that first shuttle bus in particular was a huge asshole when we brought the problem to his attention.

Southeast tours: on my sh*list.

Zack selfie as we pull out of Haines harbor
It’s a gorgeous day to be out on the water!
